Gold Filled: Gold Filled is actually a base metal with a layer of gold bonded to the outside. It is not the same as gold plating and has 100% more gold! With proper care, the gold on Gold Filled products will not rub off, wont turn your skin green, and can last a lifetime! This pieces may require polishing/cleaning over time.Gold Vermeil: Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a high-quality jewelry finish made by coating a solid sterling silver base with a thick layer of real gold. It’s more durable and longer-lasting than standard gold plating, giving you the look and feel of fine gold jewelry without the fine gold price tag. It is suggested to not wear in water.
